Happy 3 month Gotcha Day!!! March 4th, 2006, the girls are growing everyday and are actually on the verge of outgrowing some of their wardrobe! They seem more like toddlers now (without actually toddling!) than babies.....
All the girls want to do is stand. Sophia has actually found her knees and is crawling---usually happily. But her preferred mode of locomotion is to be carried!
Alyssa screams with glee quite heartily and is definitely the more verbal of the 2 right now.......
"The Girls in the Hood"
The girls are teething like crazy and Alyssa now has 7 teeth, one more than Sophia. The cloths are supposed to help soothe their gums??? But the girls would rather play with them and fling them around.
The girls are quite happy flinging around their teething cloths, however do I see a bit of attitude in Sophia's hand gestures?????
Sophia plays her new Baby Einstein violin---I believe it was Beethoven's 9th symphony---truly a gifted child!
Alyssa studies her huge box of Huggies diapers, we should have bought stocks in diapers!
Today I tuly felt like a "mother duck", the girls crawled all the way to the bath tub this morning for their bath (which they love) like little ducks following their mommy. I call it the "bath caravan". It was so adorable watching them follow each other in a line to the tub!
Sophia is determined to get to the bathtub and nothing is going to stop her...she surpasses her sister...
Alyssa stops again because she decides she is going to stand up at the door to the bathroom. Perhaps the transition from hardwood to ceramics spooked her! Sophia is already in the tub!
Alyssa stops to scratch....
Today (March 10th)was a big day today for the girls. Notice anything different about Sophia???
Yes, the girls got their ears pierced! It was tough on all of us but we got through it and the girls look even more grown up now with their pink studs.
Both girls enjoy a frozen yogurt treat after their ear piercing.
The girls are crawling everywhere now. It is so cute to see them follow each other down the hall screeching with glee. They stop periodically and if they run into each other they think it is too funny!!!
Sophia is in the lead!
Which way are we going?
Follow me Alyssa...
Sophia is still in the lead..........
Some people believe in "baby-proofing" their homes, however we believe in "Home-proofing" our babies, so......helmets are now mandatory in our household!!!lol Check out Sophia wearing hers.
I think I need one of those too!!!
"You can have mine Alyssa, I really dislike it!"
The girls are enjoying their new playroom. Sophia is the "Bean" and Alyssa is the "Sprout". (Check out the t-shirt).
"I'm really not feeling up to pictures today Mommy."
The girls are very mobile now and are into crawling everywhere! They particularly like the STAIRS!!! Time to get the baby gates up Mommy and Daddy!
"Radiant in Red"
Crawling to the Play room for Play time.
"Is that a big, hairy dog I see in the background?"
"Oh phuleeze Mommy! Enough with the photos!"
Alyssa---Looking thrilled to be in the playroom! lol
Sophia--"Can I come in?"
And.....Now that we've finally gotten TO the playroom, let's turn around and rush OUT of the playroom!!!!!! Just to give Mommy something to do!
